Job description: Job Description: We are actively seeking a talented and driven DevOps Engineer specializing in CI/CD to join our accomplished team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining our development processes, optimizing deployment, and enhancing system scalability on the DigitalOcean platform. Your expertise will ensure the continuous integration and delivery of our cutting-edge Ethereum scaling solution.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with software development teams to understand requirements and implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines. Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure on DigitalOcean, focusing on scalability, availability, and security. Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related challenges. Leverage infrastructure-as-code principles using tools such as Terraform or Ansible to manage and version infrastructure configurations. Collaborate with the security team to integrate security practices into the CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure. Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in CI/CD and cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on CI/CD pipelines. Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI, including pipeline configuration and automation. Strong background in cloud platforms, specifically DigitalOcean, with experience in provisioning, configuration, and management. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Bash for automation and infrastructure tasks. Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible for managing cloud resources. Solid understanding of security practices and their integration into CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with Ethereum and blockchain technologies. Prior experience with optimistic rollup or L2 scaling solutions. Relevant certifications in DevOps, cloud platforms, or CI/CD tools.
