Role Overview:
s an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the development and delivery of our software products. Your expertise in both Ruby and Node will be instrumental in leading and mentoring a team of talented engineers. The ideal candidate will have prior engineering management experience, preferably in a fast-paced, agile startup environment. While a passion for Crypto and Web3 is advantageous, it is not a requirement for this role.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and inspire a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Guide the team through the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and deployment.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products, adhering to project timelines and goals.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Quality Assurance, to align priorities and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting continuous learning and professional development.
- Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance engineering efficiency and product quality.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, assessing their potential for integration into our products.
- stay involved with hands-on development and leading from the front.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, leading software development teams.
- Expertise in Ruby and Node, with a strong command of the associated frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- A proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Bonus: A genuine interest in Cryptocurrency and Web3, though prior experience in this field is not mandatory.
