Job title: Finance Assistant (3-month contract)

Responsibilities
- Raising sales invoices and producing weekly debtors report
- Posting purchase invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Balance Sheet reconciliation with accruals, prepayment and acquisition schedule being updated on a monthly basis
- Cost Analysis on a month-on-month basis
- Daily/Weekly Revenue Reporting
- Assist with VAT Returns and end of Month/Year Reporting
- Assist with PAYE Payroll
- Assisting Finance Manager on a monthly preparation of management accounts and ad-hoc duties as necessary and when required#
Requirements:
- AAT or equivalent qualified
- Previous experience in a financial/administration environment is a must
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work to a high level of accuracy
- Highly organised
- Effective communicator and keeps the Finance Manager updated on progress & issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of standard accounting activities; particularly bank Reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and vendor reconciliations
- Proficient in accounting software (ie – Xero or equivalent)
- High level of professional and ethical standards
