- As the Head of SEO for Cryptonews.com you are responsible for all on-page and off-page activities on Cryptonews
- The Head of SEO works closely with the Editors, SEO Managers and the COO, and is responsible for continuous increase in rankings and traffic.
- It is expected that the Head of SEO is not only managing but also a frontrunner for hands-on on-page optimisations, link building etc.
Core Tasks
- Work with the off-page team to ensure high-quality link building to key pages
- Conduct keyword analysis and create content plans
- Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, and content to improve user experience and search engine visibility.
- Continuously analyze and adjust SEO strategies based on industry trends, algorithm updates, and search engine best practices
- Create and optimize internal and external links
- Create competitor benchmark analysis, both on-page and off-page
- Collaborate with editor teams and content freelancers to develop and optimize high-quality content that aligns with content plans and SEO strategies.
- Identify opportunities for building high-quality and relevant links to improve website authority and rankings.
Secondary Tasks
- Report to COO and other relevant management on monthly work and results
- Assist the Regional Manager/COO in setting the strategy and following it for the site
Ideal Person
- Strong technical knowledge
- 5-15 years of SEO experience, with hands-on experience
- Experience and knowledge of crypto and/or igaming
- Experience in the news media or affiliate industry is a plus but not mandatory
