Our Korean sites are incredibly valuable to our business portfolio, and hence we are looking for an expert within our markets.
As our new Cryptonews Editor, you’ll be playing a vital role in the team contributing to the most influential input to the company’s revenue (SEO & Content). Naturally, this is an area we want to support as much as possible, and this role is a superb opportunity for someone to be instrumental as we scale up our processes and strategy on one of our lead projects. The main focus will be the website below:
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and editing news articles, features, and analyses related to cryptocurrencies to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the company’s editorial standards
- Overseeing a team of in-house / freelance writers and contributors, assigning and reviewing their work, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content
- Developing and implementing an editorial strategy to meet the company’s goals, keeping up with industry trends, and identifying opportunities for content expansion and innovation
- Collaborating with the marketing team and SEO team to optimize content for search engines, social media platforms, and other distribution channels, and actively engaging with the audience through social media
- Staying informed about the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the cryptocurrency industry to guide the editorial decision-making process
- SEO optimization: Understanding search engine optimization techniques and implementing them to increase the visibility and reach of the cryptonews content
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, engagement metrics, and revenue to assess the success of content strategies and make data-driven decisions
Requirements
- Fluent in both Korean and English
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrencies and the blockchain technology
- Exceptional writing, translating, editing, and proofreading skills, with an ability to adapt content for different platforms and audiences
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and proficiency in using analytics tools to track content performance
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing constructive feedback and guidance to writers.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with other teams
