Job Description
As the Manager, SAQ, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the Site Acquisition functions in the location assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all SAQ activities from site allocation to ITP issuance and provide support through the lifecycle from site-build to final acceptance.
- Provide inputs to Legal and Community Relations to facilitate discussions with landlords.
- Support efforts geared towards reducing Opex and Capex spends around SAQ.
- Develop and implement tools and practices for SAQ reporting.
- Determine and apply quality control standards to SAQ activities.
- Assess risks to SAQ activities.
- Liaise with relevant functions across the business to enable accurate and robust monitoring of the SAQ budget against project plans.
- Ensure processes for notification and/ or escalation are in place to report on both underspend and potential overspend.
- Track, monitor, and report benefits realization against planned SAQ targets.
- Promote communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that may arise.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Senior Manager, Site Acquisition (SAQ)on all matters pertaining to the unit’s activities.
- Manage relationships with partners/ vendors.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Site Acquisition (SAQ)

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Real Estate, and/, or related discipline.
- Relevant Specialist Master’s/ MBA/ professional certifications e.g. PMP or PRINCE2 will be an asset.
- +10 years’ cognate experience.
