About this role
We are seeking a Node.js developer with experience in developing Discord bots to join our team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Discord bots that integrate with our existing systems. You will also be involved in the design and development of new features for our bots.
What you’ll help us build
Develop, test, and maintain Node.js applications using modern software development practices.
Design and develop Discord bots that integrate with our existing systems.
Work with the team to understand and implement new features and functionality for our bots.
Troubleshoot and debug issues with our bots.
Write clean, modular, and maintainable code that adheres to industry standards.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in Node.js development and Discord bot development.
Your craft
Demonstrated experience building feature rich Discord Bots.
2+ years of experience in Node.js development.
Experience developing Discord bots using the Discord.js library.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern software development practices.
Experience with Git and GitHub for version control.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Good understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Extra credit
Experience with other JavaScript frameworks, such as React or Vue.js.
Experience with containerization and deployment using Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Good understanding of blockchain technology and its underlying principles•Familiarity with DeFi protocols and applications
Knowledge of Solidity and smart contract development on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains
Experience with Web3.js, Truffle, and other relevant blockchain tools and frameworks
Familiarity with various EVM-compatible blockchains, their differences, and their respective strengths and weaknesses
Experience with developing games or other interactive applications on blockchain
Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
