Job description: About the Job:
As a Product Owner you will be joining Cryptonews.com where you will hold a key position in driving the delivery of crypto tools and platforms to our users. You will be working closely with internal teams and be responsible for the delivery cycle of a development team. Your expertise and talent to incorporate users’ feedback into deliverables will be crucial in development of our flagship products.
Core Tasks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define the product roadmap and strategy for data-related projects.
- Lead the development team by providing clear direction, setting priorities, and ensuring timely delivery of features.
- Gather and analyse user feedback, market trends, and data insights to make informed decisions about feature enhancements and updates.
- Translate high-level concepts and business goals into actionable tasks for the development team, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision.
- Act as the bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, challenges, and opportunities.
- Continuously monitor and assess the competitive landscape, staying up-to-date with industry trends and incorporating best practices into our products.
- Ensure the quality and performance of data-driven features through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the development team, driving continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role, with a focus on data-driven or crypto-related projects.
- Analytical mindset, capable of translating data insights into actionable product enhancements.
- Understanding of SEO principles and experience in on-page optimisation.
- Experience in user-centred design and incorporating user feedback into product development.
- Basic knowledge in standard web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and solve problems effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the news or media industry is a plus but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related discipline is a plus but not mandatory.
