Job description: Our partners are building a web3 infrastructure designed for running blockchain nodes on bare metal servers at a far reduced cost compared to running in the cloud. They are now seeking a Rust Engineer to build out their high availability API.
As a Rust Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing efficient and testable Rust code
- Creating optimised Postgres schemas and API architectures
- Crafting reliable and scalable gRPC endpoints
- Assisting in the design and documentation of public APIs
The qualifications, skills, and experience required for the Rust Engineer position are as follows:
- Development of highly scalable backend APIs using Rust
- PostgreSQL
- Linux and Docker
- API design principles, including expertise in gRPC and REST.
- Experience with languages such as Go, C/C++ and Python is preferred over Java/.NET.
