About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a Software Engineer at OKX, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our payment platform, ensuring its reliability, performance, and security.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define software requirements.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions for our cryptocurrency trading platform.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain code quality and standards.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical issues, proposing effective solutions and fixes.
- Optimize the performance of the trading platform to ensure a smooth and efficient trading experience for our users.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in technology and software development.
What We Look For In You:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Proven experience as a Software Engineer, ideally within the fintech or cryptocurrency industry.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java (required), or Python.
Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and real-time data processing.
Familiarity with payment technology and cryptocurrency protocols is a plus.
Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and code reviews.
Ability to work effectively in an agile development environment and adapt to evolving requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.

OKX Statement:
The salary range for this position is $113,000.00 to $208,000.00. The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
