The EOS Network Foundation (ENF) is looking to hire a Senior Systems Administrator to our amazing team. The job responsibilities, requirements and nice to haves are listed below
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or systems engineering
- Eight years experience (post BS) working in a Linux environment in AWS
- Expert in Linux system administration (Ubuntu preferred)
- Expert knowledge of Amazon AWS particularly EC2, RDS, Network, Route 53
- Strong knowledge of Google GCP (secondary to AWS)
- Strong programming skills in Shell, Python, or Javascript
- Experience with Github, Github Actions/Workflows, and Github Packages
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Remote only
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the AWS Cloud environment for the EOS Blockchain and EOS EVM software
- Work with the EOS core development team to specify and build the AWS environment
- Monitor AWS environment for issues and strive for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Principal Engineer on GCP Github Workflow environment
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible
- Remote only – must be able to work extremely productively from home
- US or Canada resident
Nice to have:
- Live in the Eastern Time zone of the US
- Familiarity with MacOS and Apple hardware
- Basic understanding of blockchain technology
- Basic understanding of cryptocurrency industry
