Skit makers’ awards scheduled for today postponed

The organizers of the Nigeria skits Business Award have introduced that the occasion beforehand scheduled for Sunday, December 12 has been postponed.

It was postponed after the loss of life of the artistic director and vice chairman of the awards committee, Joshua Olorunfemi.

Bimbo Daramola, chairman of the board, stated the loss of life was a shock. He stated that Olorunfemi’s loss of life was an enormous loss for the group.

“Mr Joshua Olorunfemi was an excellent gifted graphic artist and visualiser. His passing is a good loss for us as a group. It is because of this that we sadly must postpone the ceremony in order that we will supply his younger household some consolation.

“It’s noteworthy that Olorunfemi designed the 4 parts of this initiative: the awards ceremony itself, the Business Help Scheme, the Skitflix Platform and the Skits Pageant.”

The chairman apologized to the visitor who had already been invited to the occasion and stated the award has been renamed after two of Olorunfemi’s initiatives.

“We use this medium to supply our honest apologies to our supporters – wonderful younger Nigerians populating the business; the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; royal fathers and different dignitaries who had cleared their agendas to attend the awards ceremony.

“Within the meantime, we have now determined to alter the identify of this motion to now embrace two of the initiatives. It is going to henceforth be often called the Nigeria Skits Business Pageant and Awards.

“It is going to now be a full-day occasion beginning with the competition in the course of the day and the awards ceremony within the night.”
