We are looking for an experienced Tech Content Editor to work on our site TechReport.com. As our Tech Content Editor, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and publication of high-quality, engaging content that informs and entertains our readers. You will work closely with our team of writers, ensuring that their work is accurate, timely, and meets our editorial standards. You will also be responsible for identifying new content opportunities and working with our writers to develop engaging stories that resonate with our audience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the editorial calendar and ensure all content is published on schedule.
- Edit and proofread all content for accuracy, grammar, and style
- Ensure that all content meets our editorial standards and guidelines
- Work closely with our team of writers to develop engaging stories that resonate with our audience
- Identify new content opportunities and develop story ideas
- Monitor industry news and trends and ensure that our content is up-to-date and relevant
- Collaborate with other members of the editorial team to ensure a consistent tone and voice across all content
- Manage relationships with external contributors and freelance writers.
Requirements:
- Hands-on SEO experience
- Good understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology
- Proven experience in the tech industry (software / VPN / reviews)
- Proven experience as an editor, preferably in the technology or finance industry
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs/SEMrush/Google Search Console).
- Experience with analytics platforms like Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Experience with WordPress CMS
- Experience creating content tasks for writers
- Experience producing content for affiliate sites
- Excellent teamwork skills
