About the role:
We are seeking an experienced VP People to join our team. As our VP People, you will be responsible for Kiln’s People and Talent strategy, and manage a team of 4 Kilners covering hiring, people operations and office management.
Draw upon your 7+ years of experience in People, Talent and HR functions, including at least 2 years in a leadership position, to provide strategic guidance and direction to the People team
Drive initiatives to ensure high performance and satisfaction from team members, including onboarding, performance management, employee development and engagement
Lead hiring efforts to ensure we’re hiring exceptional talent with a data-driven approach
Demonstrating your expertise by successfully managing the People team, driving their development and performance
Leveraging your previous experience in an international tech startup, particularly in managing remote teams, to effectively lead and support a geographically dispersed workforce and scale our culture
Managing the compensation programme, including salary structures, incentives and benefits
Utilizing your background or knowledge in international labor law to ensure compliance and guide HR policies and procedures
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills in both English and French, enabling seamless communication across the organization
Demonstrated strong negotiation skills, transparency, and conflict-resolution abilities
Strong work ethics and a commitment to fairness and equity among all employees
Proven ability to lead by example and create a positive work culture
Feeling aligned with Kiln’s
Ability to analyze and interpret data for hiring and continuous performance assessments and to drive strategic initiatives
Demonstrated organizational skills to effectively plan and manage team growth and multiple projects simultaneously
Nice-to-have:
Experience in a Blockchain or crypto company
Prior experience in People and Talent within a tech-oriented company
Experience with or knowledge of HR practices in Western Europe and Singapore
