Wizkid’s associate, Godson rubbishes Carter Efe’s song, tags it as ‘nonsense’ (Video)
Uyi Godson, one of Wizkid’s close collaborators, is uncomfortable with Nigerians welcoming Carter Efe’s debut track Machala with open arms.
Godson labeled the song dedicated to Wizkid as “nonsense” and “garbage” and criticized Carter, among other things, for producing what he described as a song that cannot “cross over.”
In a video, he questioned the song’s lyrics, saying, “Nigerians love listening to nonsensical music that can’t overlap, which means I like Machala.”
In response, one netizen wrote: “So you expect him to sing like Burna Boy or something. The guy’s just a comedian. Stop the hate bro✌”
